I can't help, but think it'd be a good idea to play teams like Argentina, Germany and Scotland more often, since even if it's a friendly both teams will be really up for it and it'll give a truer picture of where we stand and how we're coming along, and it'd be more entertaining for the fans rather than just another annoying friendly/international getting in the way of the club football. What do you lot think?

I think they should bring back the home internationals.Have it in between the world cups and Euro champs.

And bring France into it as well like in Rugby Union with the 6 Nations, make it a bit more exciting then. Always like the England France Games.

Yeah man that would be cool...

A home nations tournement would give the players a competative contest other than the Euro or World Championships, which could only be positive on building team moral and get the players working as a unit...

Would be positive for the other home nations too...

And i doubt France would be remotely interested in taking part in it.

Germany would be better, they might be interested! And some non-european countries often play games in europe because most of their players are based here so they might be interested too, Brazil or Argentina would be good! Or the Aussies perhaps, though we wouldn't want teams who are massive underdogs or they might do a NI and it'd be a lose/lose situation if you're expected to win easily.

Just think of the coin it would generate for all the nationas involved. It would also be good for all the countries involved especially,Wales,Scotland and Northern Ireland. For once we would also be able to be truely patriotic without aoearing to be racist (but lets not start that)
