man, blown away at firefly on sat. ruskin did his usual decks and ableton, whilst regis seemed to be controlling effects via the midi connection. i assume this is the set-up. unless regis was adding loops aswell? **** knows how it was wired in

Saw them at the Tresor closing back in April. Interesting set-up they had going there. Good music, too.

I liked them at firefly too, didn't actually think Ruskin was all that great at filth a few weeks ago but this worked a lot better. I think he suited the garvey a lot better than blueprint anyway.

xpress2 were alright. a bit moody, and an interesting way of running the 6 deck thing. through DI boxes with no control over the other decks. you really have to trust your mixing partners to run it like that
