dunno if its coincidence or what but loads of my favorite mixes seem to be from the escape club in bucharest, romania. has anyone been? is it really a great place or is it all a coincidence? I know nothing about the place. :roll:

romania in general has been caned a lot lately for it's apparent general coolness, at least in terms of crowds who appreciate techno

If you go to the next Locked, I know Ryan Blackman who's booked to play, arranges or knows some people who arrange parties now and then so he may be able to hook you up with a few ideas. From what i've heard, the parties are pretty good :cool:

there is also a club called motor is there not wfich has also had some good sets

but yeah, eastern europe is un real for techno women and general culture

and it isnt escape, nor would you want to escape from it
wonder if there's some sets around from it, or djs didnt want to record them, since they couldnt concentrate properly...

every time i see photos from some eastern european club it's like the real-life version of colin's milwaukee experience. i'm beginning to think it's all a hoax for purposes of acquiring Levi's and toilet paper.
