not a fan of payin so much for a thru unit but this one looks like its not gonna cop out too easily. i found the little 1in/4out philrees ones werent up to the transport shananagans and celebrated spillings often associated with live performance. anyway i havent seen much else since philip rees went outa production so i'm gunna have t fork out fer one meself...

midiman thru 1x4
basic yet solid as a rock. this is true, i had no bother when using it in the studio. me first one lasted about 3 years, but with the nearly inevitable bashing a small little lad like the 1x4 gets from frequently playin live, i've personally noticed that they're life span is limited (although in retrospect we probably could've been more careful). we're on our 3rd philrees now and i've got an inkling that she's developing a dose o th oul alzheimers. gonna pick up the 3x8 in advance jus in case :)
