forgive me if i'm skeptical of your claim, because i've never seen or heard anything to indicate that, and have spent a lot of time with people who would know very well. but i also don't know you're wrong, definitively, and there would be more surprising things in life, so hey...

i do know that may owns the publishing rights to that song and is frequently on record discussing it.
