'Biog' info: TERRY FRANCIS (Wiggle/Fabric) Born 1966, sideways, Terry came forth unto the world dancing the cha-cha whilst bashing out a wickid bang-bang-bang beatbox riddim, laying the early foundations of what is now termed 'Tech House'. Feeding on a steady diet of rocks, metal and iron filings drip fed into his veins by his ever supporting parents, Terry's first furore into DJing involved hard wiring two tape decks together and seemlessly blending them via the opposing magnetic poles emanating from his fingers, a technique he still utilises today with one of the greatest inventions of the modern age: vinyl. As one part of the now legendary Wiggle Sound System along with 'Evil' Eddie Richards and Nathan Coles and Fabrics long standing Saturday night resident, Terry plays all over the world as well as his bedroom, produces, re-mixes and occasionally busts out some dance moves, re-living those early, genre defining, cha-cha days. Tech House rolls. Terry rocks! A perfect musical combination we're sure you'll agree.

RADIOACTIVE MAN (Two Lone Swordsmen/Warp) It's a little (very little!) known fact that Keith Tenniswood, AKA Radioactive Man was the original inspiration for the Homer Simpson 1940's comic book hero of the same name. Keith is in fact 104, not 34 as his 'official' biography states; his youthful, dashing looks attributable to many years of late night aural manipulation with Andrew Weatherall on the Sabres of Paradise tours. Rising up from the ashes of the Sabres like a bum sucked fag butt, Tenniswood and Weatherall formed Two Lone Swordsmen releasing records purposefully recorded to twist and mangle the ears and minds of small children, adults and octogenarians alike, with racy little rock/electro/punk/house/techno/whatever numbers like 'Sick' 'when we kiss', 'Sex Beat' 'Driving in Reverse (Only Makes You Move Further Away)'. Away from the all girl group sounding acronym of TLS, KT has recorded his own RM albums on RGC, toured extensively blowing the minds and speakers of many a big and small club with his live act with sounds we never knew existed and never will again, produced for David Holmes, made tracks for Primal Scream as well as dropping the best mix of breaks, electro, techno and drum n bass this dark side of the Keith moon!

JEET Firefly's front man Jeetus Corinthius Maximus IV or 'Jeet' (to save face), found himself at a crossroads way back in the 70's when a burgeoning career as body double for main character Masaaki Sakai in the hit Japanese show 'Monkey' found itself wrestling, Sumo like, for the mechanised pounding beats of Techno. His decision to leave Pigsy, Sandy, Tripitaka and ultimately, Japan, paid off as Monkey (sometimes known as Monkey Magic or Saiyuki) ceased production in 1980 - twenty five years later and the heart of Techno beats ever onwards. Wise move there lad! Like Techno's home, the machine has always been at the heart of the music, never more so than Jeets recent excursion into the digital age, mixing and mashing records up via Final Scratch, Traktor v3.0 and copious amounts of Vodka, always keeping it funky yet never knowing which phono lead goes in what hole. Ladies, gentlemen and the confused - put your sweaty palms together for the man with the tan. Woo!

SEAMUS (Firefly Recordings) Seamus, (pronounced 'Shame-uss' for those that like to impress with proper pronunciation) or 'Sean' as he's known to his Mum and social worker, cut his DJing teeth playing for the legendary Cream after-parties in late 90's Liverpool. Other than feefin' bottles of milk and fresh cream off milk floats during the early morning hours, this is where his love for nocturnal shenanigans were really nurtured. An integral part of the Sheffield Sunday scene, hosting and playing at all day parties across the city as well as Fridays and Saturdays at the now defunct Bed, Sean now finds himself as co-owner of Firefly Recordings of which he also produces for in between parole hearings and dodging the CSA for his many illegitimate children. Listen out for Seamus rippin' up the dancefloor with his own blend of Digital Fonk. Yo!

HIGHNESS SOUNDS Forged in rarest Dub just off Ye Olde Mansfield Road in the last century, The Highness Sound System originally consisted of Ben Highness, his fine fellow bredrin Little Dread and no more than two paper cups and a bit of string for a sound system. From humble beginnings to a custom built heavy weight professional valve sound system and a new member, Raffiki, they continue to spread their roots and reggae sounds across this land and tonight at Firefly.
