why hate arsenal so much compared to chelsea or man utd???

as much as wenger claims not to see anything, at least his arrogance does not come on the scale of the other two...

They dont have a leader on the pitch.

Dont say henry, cos altho hes a superb player, hes not in the vieira,/keane mould.

U need a leader of men, and arsenal dont have one

after the way they put real in to place i didnt expect that , but blackburn r a strong team to break down

Will
27-02-2006, 03:52 PM
I have to admit I expected it, they're a completely different proposition to Real, we're not lacking in quality, but we are lacking in steel and all too often fail to track people running in to the box, though the goal we conceded was sloppy all round. I think we're well up for the CL this year though, after Liverpool won it we beleive we can do it and they're struggling to motivate themselves for the likes of Blackburn after playing at the Bernabeu etc.

With the exception of Man U and possibly Liverpool (though that's at Higbury) I think we've played all the more physical teams now so hopefully we can go on a good run, or better still win the CL and then I won't care too much where we finish in the prem... It'd be so funny if some cunts like Bolton thought they'd got in the CL only for us to win it and boot them into the Uefa cup... Not that they deserve european football.

dj casualty
27-02-2006, 07:00 PM
nah to be fair will the table doesn't lie so anyone who finishes in a european berth
surely deserves it,and the way we've been playin you.ve gotta say we dont deserve
nowt,i doubt we'll win the cl maybe i'm just a pesimist

dj casualty
27-02-2006, 10:38 PM
and what exactly is your fact?

that everton were rubbish in europe?

yeah true enough but to get into europe you need consistency
over a season which they did and the facts were there at the
end of that season, everton finished above liverpool and
fair play, although there european adventure was laughable

our campaign (if you can call it that) in europe was dire i admit that, but we deserved to have a crack at it for the hardwork we put in over the season, we havent got the money like the kopites have. if we did then who knows were we would be.

Traxx
28-02-2006, 11:34 AM
Havent got the money??? Long term i agree with ya bit its Not like you didnt spend a good wedge pre season lad & you know it. Just that the players he brought in were mostly wank. Must of spent as much or more then we did pre season.

Esox Lucius
28-02-2006, 12:12 PM
nah moyes has bought some decent players, what i mean is we wouldnt have 14 million to spend on turd like cisse, im not having a go but that would cripple us but not you.

arteta was a bargain, cahill was worth every penny.

martyn is one of the best players we have brought in, van der mayde will come good eventually, beattie is getting a lot better.

we have got some good home grown talent too like hibbert.

you want to get rid of him at the end of the season, and morientes, maybe keep crouch as a back up and buy at least one class defender.

maybe owen? i would say robbie keane would be a good buy, but that would cripple me, one of my fav players in a red shirt

Two top class strikers ahs gotta be at the top of rafa's shopping list come the summer, followed by a right winger, followed by another young centre half. Other then that we aint looking too shabby. Only problem is moores seems to have misplaced his cheque book (again)...
