hmmm, fair enough mr nut, each to their own and all that, i was playing all that bollock hard stuff for a while, but i bored myself silly with it eventually. there's no craft in it, no soul, no care in letting the mix build and flow. just a personal opinion mind, just doesnt do it for me anymore. there's much better dj's out there these days.

couldnt help noticing 70% of the tracks were written by himself. doesnt show much of an interest in what anyone else is doing. bit self indulgent really. good to see scott kemix in there though, he's a bad ass mo fo, give way is gonna be a great label.

m8...i hate schranz and wot it stands for as much as the next man, thought id down this mix to see where mr calver is at these
days....i year ago i wasnt liking the sound coming from the man...
gave this a chance tho and a good wak off it i liked, wouldnt
play a set like this myself mind but would deffo drop a few tracks
from the likes of this...

i get bored with most techno if its played for any length
of time and doesnt go anywhere, thats why i try and mash it up a bit when dj'ing. as u say tho each to his own...

Why shouldn`t he play his own tunes? Although Alex is a strange little man he is one of the best producers around ;)
Will check the mix 2night :)

i don't usualy dig this style of techno but i thought the mix was good, it reminded me of the first time i heard HMS, i know the styles of music are different, speedcore and hard techno, but i just mean for the pure relentless onslaught...

:)

the bootleg tracks at the end kinda spoilt it a bit though for me...

I normally dont like all this Bootleg-stuff, but this Gorillaz-one is quite funny. The crowd is always going nuts when I drop it :)
And that`s what it`s all about, pleasing the crowd, no?
Really nice set Calvertron, keep em coming ya funny little ****er :cheese:
