ARE BOOTLEGS PIRATES TOO?

so what you guys think about bootleg vinyls. are they the same as pirate mp3s too. there are some labels out there this days who they have just release only bootleg tracks, like the clones label and also like the dj special needs label. is this kind of thing just as bad as the mp3 theft too?

i'd say no because all bootlegs are supposed to be a test afaik. so if you think this is thievery then it's just your opinion... i.e. i like those mash-up-bootlegs of michael jackson. funny shit

Not quite pirates, but not quite right either.

You shouldn't make money out of someone elses work, claiming it to be your own. The original artists should be credited and paid.

When bootlegs are played on radio they have to credit each artist as if they played the original record in full.
