Right,it's time.

Today I am going to buy some music software for my pc,so that I can start to learn how to make music.

Got a budget of 2-300 quid, could probably stretch it out if I had to.

So,recomend me some software!! (please, thank you very much)

cubase, reason, acid, ableton, fruityloops. think to start u off for acid reason is probably the easiest to start with as all the instruments are there ready to use where with cubase ull have to go find free vst's or start buying them

to start with i'd recommend reason or fruity loops studio edition, you don't want to be spending loads if you're just starting out

fruityloops studio edition is only about 120quid too so its a cheap way to start

its worth downloading and playing with, but its not good enough to make complete tracks with.

oh and its only free because its so old now, before you did have to pay for it, plus its made by the same people behind reason, so its certainly not rubbish, just not good enough on its own

if you wanna make acid with software your only real option is a sequencer and audiorealism bassline. reason wont give you a 303 sound which is what you're gonna be after. time to up youe budget a little... but b4 you do that DEFINITLY get rebirth and learn how to program a 303 and a drum machine.

well, after a little talk with a very nice man. I'm getting a "copy" of reason to play with.

So,if and when I get used to that,I'll start spalshing out some real cash on some stuff and then you'll all be dazzled with my abilities  (or not)

audiorealism is good, but there is something new out now that is just amazing. i mean i and so pro 303 it's not even funny, but this puppy comes pretty ****ing close, more than the new audiorealism.....

no way m8. it may look the part but its nowhere near the audiorealism bassline. its very few can tell the differance between the ABL saw and the real thing.

very nice for squelchy style lines.

ABL is the daddy. Muon Tau is great for synthetic NRG style acid lines but if you want the skanky sound you need the ABL.

Theres nothing the tb can do that a pro cant do with audiorealism. It's all in the effects and how you sequence it.

Fruity studio is probably the best for beginners. It keeps on giving after years of use.
