Following fast in the tracks of the mayhem of our unforgettable launch night, ClubClass returns to the Ministry Of Sound, London for our second party in the Big Smoke on Saturday 22nd April. Our mighty residents Nic Fanciulli and Paul Woolford are back in control of proceedings, having destroyed The Box with their signature acid house sounds at the launch, along with twelve individuals they have carefully hand picked to provide you with an incredible night of serious underground shenanigans.
Making his ClubClass debut, the outstanding DJ Rolando headlines the party to launch his brand new NRK compilation titled 'From There To Here And Now', his first major project since the release of his sensational 'NRK nite:life 016' back in late 2003. A career that started with the legendary Underground Resistance organisation and spawned hugely influential tracks ‘Knights Of The Jaguar’ (once rated by the now defunct Jockey Slut as the finest dance record of all time) and ‘Quetzal’ to name just a couple, Rolando of course needs little introduction. Expect an utter masterclass in 21st Century house and techno from one of Detroit’s finest pioneers and innovators.
In the intimate surroundings of the bar, Angels Of Love (www.angelsoflove.it) fly over from Napoli, Italy to make an extremely rare UK appearance with their residents DJ Simi and DJ Fiore and guest Buckley, resident at Back to Basics. Since their creation in 1990, AOL have hosted parties across the world with dance music’s greatest names gracing their nights including Carl Cox (for whom Angels Of Love hosted the terrace for Carl's night at Space Ibiza), Francois K (who plays their party in Naples on 11th March) and Deep Dish, whilst Danny Tenaglia headlined their event in New York last November as part of their 15th Anniversary celebrations. London’s Italian clubbing community as well as those who have heard all about AOL but never experienced their unique atmosphere will no doubt be salivating at the prospect of this legendary club night making its debut at the capitals legendary night club.
A further Ministry debut comes in the form of The Electric Press who are the nights live act and who take to The Box’s stage alongside their MC PMQ for the very first time. They’ll be showcasing original material, set for release on 20:20 Vision Recordings, with vocals, synths and efx thrown into the mix for good measure…
Finally in the Baby Box our friends from IDJ Raw Talent join forces with Futurism, ClubClass’ very own project for rising stars. Here Sam Ball, Jon Gurd (resident at Portsmouth’s Punchfunk), Larry Nelson, Don O’Kane and John Maclean take to the decks for more four to the floor action.
So there you have it. Another monster lineup. Another monster night. ClubClass back at The Ministry. Let the mayhem begin…
