Just looking at gettin me a new compressor for when I do my LivePA.

I am in the market for something that is multi-band, smallish (for air-travel) and relatively transparent. Not looking for something too good as it will prolly get knocked around a bit.

I am looking at the AltoComp (digital multiband with lcd interface - presets and programming) or the Phonic A6500 digital multiband with analog interface.

Anyone else have any suggestions before I purchase??

Cheers,
Glen.

from what i've seen so far, the quality built into Alto products is even worse than Behringer: serious crap!!!

i use a dbx 166xl. ya, it's just a single band, but it's tough as hell and sounds good for the price. people often tell me that my pa sounds bigger than most.
