Does anybody know how to recreate the vocal that Dave Clarke used in Christopher Just-I'm a Disco Dancer remix (gigolo). I've heard the same fx on other trax as well, so I guess it's some kinda preset on a certain machine.

Thanks

It's just apple talk. Is on all mac's - actually, not sure if it exists on osX ... I know Christopher Just was using os 8.x or 9.0 so it's from that...

Cheers for that but I'm a pc user, so i guess I'll have to resort to other stuff. Any suggestions for an effect wich transforms the voice but still keeps it audible. I've tried various vocoders but I'm not anywhere near the sound I'm after.

Just out of curiosity does anyone know of anymore advanced versions of this, with tweakable parameters and shit. I heard one came out not so long ago and it was a bit of a beast but never got the name

There were a couple of things that zero-g released called vocaloid - actually - i just found the link :

never really played with them, and it's friggin expensive for what it is...
