I still think Mr Radio 1's production isn't up to much TBH.

I’m not usually that outspoken about other productions/achievements but I still to this day, don’t know how he ended up having that techno show on radio 1. Such a tame unadventurous move on their part and it annoys me tbh. Him having a techno show didnt do techno any justice, can’t think of anyone who listened to it apart from the tiesto fans. Im all for crossover music, but what about having some real raw dark and gritty stuff? Every time I listened to it all I got was measly polished ‘club techno trance for the masses’. Nothing obscure, experimental, nothing raw. That’s nothing to do with purism and everything do with good taste. What a bellend, down with him I recon.

His show is bollocks.
The Split show and Blackout show however are the the dogs bollocks.

his show was never gona be gritty and edgy, even if someone else had done it. It is Radio One after all. I don't think its that bad, as far as getting youngsters into a slightly more underground sound. Can always lead to better things, and if you don't like it, don't listen. Quite simple
He is a bit of a bell end though

Radio 1 isn't all bollocks.
The Breezeblock is a great show.

If you represent the scene don’t censor it, look at the respect John Peel Earned. Miriam Hobbs is doing radio one justice too. In fact even if the show was run someone like Dave Clarke it would have been so much better and probably more successful. Fergie has no balls

Fergie doesn't really get Techno.
I've seen him a couple of times and he just mixes from one tune to the next, with little progression, and never giving two tracks much chance to gel together and get interesting.
Kind of like you'd expect an ex-Hard Houser to do it, as it goes.
Dont dis him. Its a waste of time. Do better.
