Do I have to start all the threads around here?? Sounds like they got off lightly and didn't do too well again away from home, but hopefully they can turn it round at the Riverside, should be able to...

1-0 is fine, we should have too much for them at home

Yeah that was a great result when you take into consideration how badly we played and that Southgate,Cattermole,Riggott and Viduka will all be back for the home leg.

I'm confident now.

Just hope they players aint to tired against West Ham on Sunday, setting off to brum at 7 in the morning and out on the lash all day.Mates wanna go to gods but i just wanna go to a house club, really cant stumoch the hard stuff these days.

woody86 is quality

haha... u lot were telling me not to live in the past......

im talking about things that happend in RECENT history "League WINNERS;1905,1906,1908,1927" im sorry but i cudnt even get excited if boro had won the league 101 years ago! hahaha

Texeco cup WINNERS;1974,1975
Anglo Italian cup winners;1973

hahahaha

end of the day chaps... in the last 30 years we are the only north east team to win a trophy
we are in 2 semi finals of major competitions
we have the best group of youngsters in england
3 strikers you would kill to have
we are in europe
and weve done it all with a fraction of what you lot have spent

so you can put your division 2 winners medals and champions league ticket stubbs away and just accept we are the best team in the north east.... fact

sounds like schwazer had a blinder , he seems to be finding his form again, best keeper in the prem i think when he's in top form ,
i reckon boro will just edge it !!!!

I wouldn't go that far about Shwarzer! I'd say there were a few better keeper's in the prem... Hopefully it'll be the last time they have to come from behind if they do reach the final, you don't want to keep having to make come backs, though if they win it, it won't matter I suppose.
