im just curious, for the most of you........when you buy new records or cds, would you buy a record that has 1 good track and the rest suck or do you only buy it if all the tracks are good?
i find myself buying stuff even if only 1 song is good haha, just wondered if im not alone :cheese:

i've often paid 25euro for a compilation with 1 or 2 tracks i like. shameful really.
couple of years back (more like 8 to 10) I was buying bunch of hardcore cds just by the name
there was only one shop about 250-300 km away, so I would call them, ask what new shit they have, and then order some, without even hearing anything..
so, long live internet and the possibility of previews :cheese:
now, I sometime hear few tracks that I like and buy the damn cd
while records I usually get as a present
but most friends of mine are often buying records even if its one good track on it...

generally I buy a record or CD for whatever I like on it.
I`m a music junkie, I would prefer more value for money, but if their is a 4track ep with only one track I like, if I really like it, I gotta have it.

Yep, one track is enough but it's got to really do it for me these days as I can't afford nearly as many records as I want...

i used to refuse point blank to buy any 4 track ep for £8 with 1 good track. unless the whole ep was quality,it didnt get bought. unless there was something totally blistering on it. as well as saving me money, it also got me a record box of real top quality. instead of buying every Wittekind that came out, i got real tight & jus got 3 or 4.. and that stopped me from gorging on artists.
i know ppl who bought every BMB single, then after the 5th, they were bitching 'they all sound the same.. and there shit now' there not.. u jus overloaded on that sound.
depends what way ya dj though. do u look for songs that stand alone, or do u look for dj tools u can bend & blend ?
Dj Rush used to do my head in.. 4 tracks.. 1 ace.. 3 guff.. aaargh lol
Usualy I buy records with 2 or 3 good tracks on it........But sometimes I buy record with only 1good track on it,depends on my finance situation and the track.

Half of my record collection was for the one track.
It's those other tracks you appreciate on a sunday afternoon when you're bored.

Ages ago it wouldnt be a problem but i cant afford it these days so i tend to stick to ones with 2/3 maybe even 4 quality tracks on if im lucky. Hard to find these days which is why i buy old stuff most of the time.

i definitely used to shell out for that one blistering must-have track, but not anymore.
the money just isn't there, and i am really really really wanting some quality control on the part of labels.

Woo, just had a scary thought, have not bought any vinyl yet this year o.0

if only 1 out of 4 REALLY rocks .. that;s good enough reason to buy the vinyl as far as i'm concirned ..
