i have a yamaha rm1x sequencer that i bought a couple of years back when i wasnt really clued up to what i wanted, stuff i do is based around cubase now so the r1mx is just sitting there.
Im considering devotin a week to it and learning its ins and outs too see if i can use it in my set up in anyway but if i dont find a use for it itd probobly be better to get it to someone who would.
Just posting this to see if theres anyone who might be interested.

Well, the RM1x is pretty simple to figure out. It's a great sequecer, and the sounds are ok(if you don't need horns and strings anyway  )
If you have any questions about it, check out www.rm1x.co.uk . There is a good RM1x board there 8)

right its getting silly now, ive had this for a couple of years and used it properly for a couple of hours, definetly dont need it at all now so i refuse to keep something thats doing nothing, going for 250 o.n.o to anyone whos interested, great condition with manuals, box + discs
the RM1x is *the* killer box if you want to trigger external synths or samplers. It's sequencer is very good (altough the sequencer of the RS7000 is still better). The built in sounds are pretty cool, but useless for serious hard techno production.
If you are sitting in a studio, drop the RM1x.
If you are on stage, don't ever sell it.
