View Full Version : TV and prize money...
Premiership Champs League FA Cup Total
Arsenal 27.2 25.1 0.4 £52.7m
ChelShite 28.6 17.7 1.2 £47.5m
Liverpool 28.1 12.7 2.4 £43.2m
The Glazerites 29.1 9.8 0.9 £39.8m
Don't suppose this'll be that easy to read, but makes for good reading, basically Arsenal earned a bit over £5m more than anyone else in terms of tv and prize money this season, good news, eh? :cheese:

And we got a mill more than them in the league? wheres this info from?
The Champions get more per game which is why we earned nearly as much as Liverpool from the CL last season. There's not such a difference in terms of prize money in the league, Chelsea won't have earned much more than the other top 4 teams in the league and as for TV money, it's not really linked to whether your the Champions or not... Chelsea made more from the league, it didn't copy and paste very well, but basically the first figure's for the league, 2nd the CL, 3rd the FA cup and 4th the total.
Of course the fact that we earned a mere £5m more than Chelsea in TV/prize money isn't going to make any real difference to the relative spending power like you say Miksta, but still!
And if they were to get Shevchenko as well as Ballack they'll look very strong, just when it looked like teams might close the gap, even if it's as replacement for Crespo...
