help with melodys

Can anyone give me advice on creating half decent melodys because i cant play the keyboard and i feel like ime smahing my head against a brick wall :mad: I dont expect anyone to make me a musical genius with a few posts but are there any basic formulas or rules for trance that i can adapt cause the piano roll is starting to do my swede in!

well how i go about working on melodies i hit chords on my keyboard till i have a good bar or two as long as it isnt off key you have it good, also if you have a melody in your head sit there warm up and play it out some people come out with melodies out of no where i wish i was like that haha.
