I`m looking for some way of converting a whole bunch of 8 bit samples, to 16 bit in one go.
Anyone know of a way?

i think, this can be done in SoundForge aswel. I dont how it is in there, but deffinitely some kind of BatchProccess tool needs to be there. It should be called Converter or something like that and also can be as a separate SoudnForge tool.

the batch converter is new in sound forge 8 - what version you running? always pissed me off that soundforge didn't have a batch converter before the new version...

yeah - is probably worth the upgrade just for batch conversion i reckon... 8 does vst's too which i guess would be useful if ya wanna use soundforge for more mastering and editing stuff...
