just wandering if its worth getting my PMC 25 repaired and brought back up to standard. Anyone had any experience with this or should i just flog it and get a new mixer.

Although you didnt mention what is actually wrong with it, I would guess its dirty faders and switches. It is really up to you, but if you have any experience at all with electronics (soldering and the like), its not that hard to replace these yourself. Maybe you should get a new mixer, and then open up the PMC 25, take a look around, and take a whack at trying to fix it yourself. If it doesnt work, oh well, but if it does, you've learned a few things, and you've got yourself a spare mixer 'round.

yeah bang on mate, i know how to replace the up/cross faders but the rotary knobs (as far as i can tell) are not user serviceable. I want to try and salvage it if i can because it cost me £500 when i bought it :mad: :lol:
I had about 10 pairs of faders... they say they improve em everytime but they still suck....
Try sending vestax an angry email so they'll do it for free... that what I did.. just went to the importer of the stuff in holland......
if they wont do it for free... buy a new mixer coz the problem will come back....
