View Full Version : Stars of the tournament so far?
Aside from Rosicky, I was impressed by Messi and Tevez, both getting a goal and an assist as subs, though they were playing 10 men at that point. Arsenal should sign Tevez perhaps! Though he'd probably cost loads. The trouble is alcohol and boorish mates have diminished my ability to analyse some of the games, haha.

Lahm of the krauts no question.
Superb defender, great going forward.
Maybe ashley cole should watch him on how to defend

Nah, he's a great defender and a big game player, he's still not fully fit.

Zokora looked better from what I saw, but haven't seen that much of Ivory Coast really... Or Saudi Arabia, but seem to remember their striker looking alright...

init , id love to see torres + rooney up front !!! , dont know if it will ever happen though :paranoid:
I think I'd prefer Tevez at this point... Cesc set up the first 2 goals though so hopefully he'll start from now on.

riquelme aswell,hes just to good.
Is he any better than the likes of Deco though or is it just the players around him and that he operates an important role in the team where everything goes through him, making him look good... I wouldn't have thought he was as good as some people are making out, though he is good of course, as is Deco...
