what's the techno mix like then? what artists are featured?
from the tidy website-
Music For A Harder Generation is tidy’s most prestigious album projects with only three volumes released in it’s five year lifespan.
The first CD erupts into full-on festival party mayhem. This is jaw dropping, peak-time party music from the very off and again builds into the crescendo of noise that Mark is so well known for. Using elements of techno, hard trance and hardstyle, this is a sound that stops people in their tracks and staples them to the nearest bass-bin. With Mark playing at some of the main big UK/European Festivals again this year (Dance Valley for both days, Ground Zero, Creamfields, Colours, also WEMF(Canada)), this is typical of what will get people screaming. And scream they shall.
The second CD on the album takes the harder edge of the techno sound and flips it on its head. The pace begins on a comfortable level, maintaining a cunning minimal funk but drawing you into the manic overload that ensues. A barrage of tight industrial percussion aims straight for the face, as some of the top European techno artists and best homegrown UK talent take center stage. There is no let up until finally a tough crescendo of UK based acid follows. This is tough, heads-down music that will leave the discerning dance floor in pieces.
‘The key to the best music out there is purpose, a rawness and an edge; and a willingness to experiment and think out of your comfort zone’, concludes Mark, ‘It would be stupid to think of this CD as experimental, but it has got an underlying purpose and a rawness, and hopefully serves as a gateway to thinking out of the box for a younger generation of music lovers. I’m on a mission to get the next generation dancing to things that they haven’t danced to before, to experience things they haven’t experienced before, no matter how small that is. Not only is this music for a harder generation, it’s also music for a future generation – because they are where the key to music lies.’

It's alright. Nothing amazing, but worth a listen.
I think the techno CD is outstanding.
Trying to track down track 10- Kay D Smith - Time 2 Change. What label's this on? Has it been released yet? Mark? Anyone?
Cheers
