So this time we all know the score, Right? Fat music all night long, the best, up for it crowd, and taking no prisoners!!
Introducing Ant from Powertools Records. Ant has been DJ’ing since’94. His unique style of techno, tech-house, acid & hard-trance has earned him recognition across the globe. He has DJ’d at a wide selection of events, ranging from parties, clubs & festivals throughout the U.K. & Europe, through to large scale events throughout the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Venezuela & Japan with appearances alongside many prolific acts, such as Robert Armani, Fast Eddie, Marco Corolla, Yoji Biomehanika, Pablo Gargano & Angel Alanis, to name but a few.
In 1997 he turned his hand to writing music using knowledge gained from DJ’ing. Then in 1998 he began to work at Kinetec Studios (home of D.D.R.) where he still works writing, producing & engineering for his own label, Power Tools, as well as writing for various other labels such as Infected Records, Torque Records, Smitten, Jerk Records, Hazchem, Stay Up Forever, Cluster, Maximum Minimum, XSF, Strata, Bang On, Raceway Recordings, Cut & Dry & Antidote.
Ant’s range of production techniques often requires him to use pseudonyms for selected records, such as the popular “Stoned Trance” by Stratosphere & Thermobee, which reached Number 14 in the UK Dance charts in 2001. In 2002 he also wrote and produced music for MTV Europe to be used in commercials for the channel.
He has also written tracks with a number of other respected DJ’s & producers (including Chris and Aaron Liberator, Blu Peter, Guy “Geezer” McAffer, Rowland The Bastard, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, D.D.R., DJ Guido (Los Angeles) & Ben Balafonic), proving himself to be one of the most prominent DJ’s and producers, in London today.
