Been a while since the last Rush a thon, not going ILT now so need to get to see him somewhere else.

last two times i seen him, he wash very dull.. very very dull. jus overdriven muck for 2 hours. danced like a loon at his EC gig in Traffic, but Remus was by far the superior dj.

in saying that, i though his first appearence at Shine in belfast was f**kin killer.

yeah.. but.. there was little to.. personality or aomething.. the last 2 times it was 'thump thump' for the sake of it if ya follow.. its easy to throw on a bunch of 150bpm thumpers, but ya like to hear the dj put his stamp on it. which, imo, Rush didnt on the last 2 occassions.. it jus seemed.. flat & empty.

Rush pre 2002 was when he was really on it,more to do with the amount of high quality of techno that was about then.

When i saw him last he pulled out Stigmata 8 late on,absolutely ruined the place. Best record he pulled out all night.

old cinema but never been inside since it got turned into a venue

I'll be going to London for that, ive seen Rush at least once a year since that stupid night in the Voodoo in 2002, what a night that was, I remember speaking to him upstairs at the end and him shicking me by his campness haha, for someone so camp he ****in nails it like no one else, seen him in The Que Club in 03 when he had his 3 foot platforms on, in The Sanctuary on 04, and then last year in Voodoo with Dave Clarke at the Carling Academy was one of the best atmospheres ive ever seen in Liverpool, hes one of those special Djs who just lets off enthusiasm and that feeds into the crowd....still one of the best techno Djs ive ever seen, a night with him and Green Velvet on the same bill is still a dream....legends
