i bought some oldish techo the other day. names i have heard of but never actually listened to.
i bought dave clarkes red 2 and damon wilds bang the acid (both tunes are out of this world, im really enjoying them and even mixing them aswell)
i think there is some really good minimalistic techno at that time.
i have a question for folk maybe with specialst knowledge.
i had a tape once which was cellotaped to the front of some glossy music magazine around 1994 it was called Future Bass (the magazine i mean, i think)
Anyway i loved this tape dudes. It was like 2 tracks i think of the nicest techno you can imagine, minimal, but complex and simply wonderful, one on each side , i cant remember the artists. but one side was called 'High and Dry'.
Unfortunately i lost the tape inbetween house moves and mental breakdowns.
if anyone could help i'd appreciate this - just for my peace of mind - i d love to listen to those tunes again
