Places to go in Split,Dubrovnik? Which is the best?

ive only been to SPlit.... and theres **** all there... if your lucky you'll get a bar that doesnt close before 10.30. theres a cocktail bar and a cheese club beside each other but they rip you off coz i got a cocktail to serve 4 people...drank it myself and was sober. ****in rip off merchants.

dunno about dubrovnik, i think its meant to be a bit busier than SPlit tho.

What was good about Split tho was i did see SHamrock Rovers beat Hadjuk Split to get into the Champions Leauge Finals. good achievement for a small team.

to be honest want somwhere that has nice beaches,quiet life by day with a few sly techno nights by night.

well split is nice.... the beaches are small but theyre nice still. the town itself is lovely... theres no hostels or hotels..... its all just villas, which are real nice. when we arrived we had all these old ladies shouting 'sleeping' at us. the poor souls didnt have enough english to say 'rooms for rent' :)

split is cool to wander around too. its all oldtown, and dates back to pre-roman times afaik, with real old catherdrals etc..... just bring a rig with you and set up your own rave there!!!!
