word is that Smithy is gonna go on loan to Cardiff, as long as he agrees to the move...

not sure what i'm feelin about this, yeah his performance against Southend was poor and he does need first team football, but Cardiff?!!? surely they could have found somewhere better...

whatever happens, i just hope he finds form again and shines as a United player...

hope not dont want him helping them go up.

he will come good smith like. had it bad recently just needs to get fit and get some confidence in him.

It might do him good to have a couple of months starting up front in a lower league, if he gets a few goals under his belt he will go back to Utd a lot more confident. They are top of the Championship also Cardiff so he will be joining a winning team.

Torres and Hargreaves would be my choice...

i would'nt mind him coming to everton, especially as our attackin midfielder cahill is injured, where would you play him?up front or midfield, you cant leave johnson out and moyes likes playin the one up ;)

i don't think there would be much point in playin Smith in mid-field, when Leeds put him in the centre of the park he did a good job but struggled when United asked him to do the same job...

I'd have him anyday, match fit or not, & btw Cardiff are shite we battered them all over their pitch & if it wasn't for the homer of a ref we'd have come away with a point or all 3

lets be honest, yes hargreaves looks alot better now as a player, but do you think if the england fans had'nt have got on his back he would of played like a man on a misssion,i doubt it.he started playin better when he was giving 110% rather than 50% everyone must be able to see it,for england e shud have been givin 110% from the start thats what has pissed me off about him

Alan smith is a great player with plenty of potential, he's still young just needs to get some first team practice, i'm sure most clubs would welcome what he has to offer.....
