Hello guys,
Machine Battles - TensionWorks Records, Brazil.
Nimitz Vs Vector Commander live pa battle @ Abduction Radio.

the file to download with the live set we did this november and that was broadcasted live throug abduction radio.
In the Machine Battles project, we put two live pas toghether, Nimitz and Vector Commander, and desconstruct our songs, remixing and blending them into a new mix. Nothing here is programed or pre-sequenced.
2 Hours of dark techno, with influences from ebm and also some hard-stuff in

tbh i found this mix very hard going.
I liked your ideas but a lot of the tracks seemed very under-produced or very very loopy.
Plus i think you massively overused sweeping effect which ended up cheapening it.
I know this sounds very negative and I don't mean to come across horrible. :( sorry dude

No problem mate, feedbacks are always welcome.
What I can tell you is that you are right when you say that some tracks seemed very loopy. The thing is that on this kind of performce, Machine Battles, we (Vector Commander and I), as we are working mixing the songs, blending separeted partes of our live acts, we are working exclusively with loops.
When playing separeted, each one with his own live, we can elaborate more, as you can check on our individual performances avaliable to download.
We fell that this "mix" is becoming better at each battle as expected, lets see where we can get ;)
Regarding the effects...well, I will pay a close atention to this.
