im a bit dubious..... i installed anticrash and hare... which says it has optimised my machine by 80%.... im still trying to figure out whether its faster at the general tasks....but slowing up at the hard stuff like when im tune making..

anyone have experience with programs like these? am i wasting my CPU??

anticrash does pop up every now and again... so maybe thats working.

Similar software packages to these have had a long history of just doing very dubious things that ended up being more illusion than anything else.

yeah, don't bother.

you're best going through windows and tweaking things yourself to gain a little extra free memory etc
