as it is his birthday, just thought i'd take a moment to reflect on his incredible record as a manager, yeah, i haven't always agreed with his desicions, and yeah, there have been moments where i have doubted that he is still the man to lead United to glory, but no-one can question his record, character and continued success as a top flight gaffer...

also, no-one can deny that English football would be a much less colourful institution without Sir ever-present, forget Jose, the true 'special one' in English football is a Scot with a red nose and a love for Whiskey...

Sir's record with United...

FA Premiership: (8) 1992/93, 1993/94, 1995/96, 1996/97, 1998/99, 1999/00, 2000/01, 2002/03
FA Cup: (5) 1989/90, 1993/94, 1995/96, 1998/99, 2003/04
League Cup: (2) 1991/92, 2005/06
FA Charity/Community Shield: (6) 1990 (shared),1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2003

UEFA Champions League: (1) 1998/1999
European Cup Winners Cup: (1) 1990/91
Toyota Cup: (1) 1999
UEFA Supercup: (1) 1991/92

so, Sir Alex, Happy Birthday, we salute you...

all together now 'coz every single one of us, loves Alex Ferguson...'
