This Thursday back after a killer set before Green Velvet back in August will be Eduction with a firing live performance. Recently signed to Donnacha Costello's Minimise label, this project is the brainchild of Dublin based DJ/producer Tóirse. Educution's debut 'Man Versus Man Beast' was received with enthusiasm globally and one source even declared a new genre had been started 'Horror-Jack'.

Having broken his baby teeth performing live under his 'Booger' moniker for the last five years, Educution has emerged as a very experienced live performer, pushing the envelope to much harder, crazier and bouncier places. Very busy in the studio at the moment finishing the third release before the second 'The War on Fish/Surf Tec' has even been released, expect things to get a lot hotter.

Finishing things up will be one of the new latest signings to the EC first team, Jay Galligan. Along with Dan McElligott, Jay is the latest addition to the roster of residents at Electric City and we're delighted to have them on board to freshen up the squad. Jay has rocked the club on may occasions and this closing slot will be no exception. Kicking things off will be long standing EC resident Eddie Brennan. You can also check out Eddie in da mix most Sunday nights between 9 and 11 on ECFM at www.powerfm.org.
