not a bad acid techno track, production wise it could do with sounding a little fatter and the 303 bringing out a little more, sounds a little dull and lifeless.

Having problems with the production on this one. Have just upgraded my system and using better software. Not quite got it down yet. Doesn't help that the missus won't let me play it on loudspeakers tonight.

not had a listen yet but regarding your question: sounds very much like you have a compressor over your master - it mainly reacts to the kickdrums, they trigger it. when you drop the kicks in the break, the compressor eases up, causing the problems you mentioned.
