Loads of people seem to rave about it but tbh I've not been too impressed with the (very few) I've heard...

I'll try to track down the releases mentioned in this thread then I spose, feel like I'm missing out :whoops:

Awesome... 'Right to Party' is the one...:)

Timeless to be honest... I still play it now n I won't mix over the top of it... It needs to be left alone.... 1997!!!

Totally agree, that's a top track.

For ages I thought the vocal on Neurodancer said "Devil have hands".
I even remember dancing around chanting it when I first heard it played out.
lol.

yesah i know what you mean
they did release some nasty stuff at the end

but there was THAT period when every proloekult just rocked it
and they still do today
chris cracks out the wippenburg every so often and the place just goes nuts every time!

last I heard of him he was playing hippo reunion gigs (legendary underground club from back in the day) in my hometown - Cardiff - where he lives or is from - not sure

anyway don't think he plays out regularly now - could be wrong though...

This track is timeless for me. I still drop it in acid sets, along with a number of other Prolekult tracks. Great to listen to solo and great builders for sets. So many of the releases are really nice if you're following up someone a bit more mellow and want to build into something a bit more nasty.

Yes, yes, loved this label, Hooj's borther label if i remember rightly.

The Proloculture album was fantastic and loved Laurie Immersions Bubble Memory on Spinning Atoms 3 as well as the fav's Wippenberg, Global Phases, The First Rebirth, Typhoon, Catseye etc.

Was gutted when the label died, was one of my fav's.

there were a lot of decent tunes on this label...but the later releases lacked the flair and authority of the early days (familiar pattern labelwise the world over unfortunately)

tho i havta say i only discovered the lawrie tune recently since i began my exploration into acid techno properly

gd shit from the uk

Cant believe no one has mentioned Dj Randy - deception/ Pandomia!!!
Both were absolute underground bombs back in the day and played to the hilt by M-Zone
