but i need to know fast- are numark TT200 any good?
can get them for ok price,but have no idea how they perform...
can they be used as home decks?

I like 'em. But for the money you might wanna buy technics. The direct drive Numark 1500's are rubblish but then again they are only £120 a deck so what do you expect?

yep... they are very good decks. My advice is to take some tunes down to your latest stockist and have a play. Else take the risk, you'll always be able to re-sell them as "unwanted presents" or "my wife is making me get rid of them" :)

I played with them a few weeks ago and found them a pleasure to DJ with. They didn't have the original carts on them but I had no complaints - lots of torque, no jumping and really solid considering its about £375 a pair. The M3 monitors by Numark are nice too.

if you're in any doubt go for technics 1210's honestly. thats what i'd do! unless there at a unbelievablely cheap price of course ;)

Technics Is absolute Standard... If u wanna try anything different go for the Stanton STR8 150 ... these rock!

Solid.. good built.. 4,5 torque.. good pitch accuracy..

Numark mixers are alright - personally I would get the Vestax PMC-06Pro Mixer because of the curve adjustment on the cross fader. But then again they aint cheap.

Hmmm... I think you missed the point, mate.

TT200 = £370 a PAIR :lol:
PDX 2000 = £380 EACH :shock:

...and beleave me they really aint anywhere near twice as good. TT200 are excellent high-torque direct-drive decks that are perfect for home use. I'd rather put the other £400 notes into buying some absolute zero monitors and 25 records than set stung for a pair of PDX, when your just spinning at home.

i read on the net that tt200 after some time tend to break down...
and that they while touching the plater go faster(if you are
slowing down the record)!!!thats a big NO-NO for me! :nono:
so i decided to put more money in the stuff,you only once
buy good set of decks in your life!

I dunno, If you are gonna spend that much on decks for hom, you should have gone for the standard ie.technics. 9 times out of 10 it is what you will play on in a club/rave, so you need to be good on the industry standard. And that speeding up while you are touching the platter cack, rubbish, goes against the principle of how a direct drive system works, don`t believe a word of it.

i am playing since 98...i am good on the "industry standard",
in one no. of dj mag i read in t-scan that tt200 does that with
plater if touching it!!!
