It changes all the time but off the top of my head, right now, something like:

Glenn Wilson - always brilliantly produced, hard, dark & intelligent all at the same time
Tim Wright - nobody else sounds like him... genuine funk
Alex Calver - brings creativity & polish to the hard stuff
Julian Liberator - too often overlooked IMO, can mangle sound in the most beautifully awful ways
Dirty Bass - mainly because I'm currently listening to that Voidloss PA for the 3rd time today & it's grabbed me like nothing has in a good while!

He certainly likes his sawtooths and pitch envelopes though, haha.

So consistent.

Henrik B

Perhaps not the guy in the forefront, braking musical boundaries, but his productions are always extremely well crafted.

Go Hiyama

Master of the dark, mechanic, destroy all humans, kinda sound. Makes me feel all warm and happy inside.

Slovakians

Rumenige, Loktibrada, Hu, Olga+Jozef, the Palicavonzvreca dudes basicly. Don't even know how many are actual persons and how many are just different aliases, oh well, I love them all.

seriously...

who **** knows? many of my favorite records were made by people who's total output = that record or that record plus 2 or 3 other ones

cari lekebusch has done a lot of great stuff, but has put out some serious crap too. derrick may was great up until 1991 or whenever he stopped producing. so i don't know.

but teste "the wipe" is the greatest techno record of all time :)

Invexis rocks big time on some releases, the Flux double pack was just stunning in places, but last few bits i heard were going down the very substandard schranz route, not nice at all when he (or they?) have some incredible records, and im sure will again at some point

invexis had some bangers indeed.
the release on expanded was my fav probably. also the p-rhythm.
some of the production quality is just outright horrendous on their throw-away releases.
I always check for their stuff regardless.

Nah mate... have to correct you there as Frankie, un-beknownst to many, had a ghost producer, quite literally... His name was Harold Flange-ling, who's artist moniker was 'Grape Digger' and he copped it trying to hook his rig up to a dodgy 3-phase power link for a Cristingle Party in Stoke Newington couple o year back.... oh aye :coffee:
