This is one we have really been working hard to put together for quite a while and just like Hannibal, we also love it when a plan comes together. The Berlin femme fatale, Ellen Allien, has been a regular at Electric City parties over the years and she last brought the house down with Alexander Robotnick at ES back in January 06. BPitch Control label owner, producer and DJ extraordinaire is one of our favourite DJs with unbeatable track selection to rock the Electric Shock. Last year was insanely busy for Frau Allien as she masterminded a series of firing releases on Bpitch, remixed Thom Yorke, Beck, had two fashion lines put out (inspiring us for our EC T-shirt range!) and released several 12s and an album and played live across Europe with Apparat. 2007 shows no let up with remixes for Troy Pierce on the way and a DVD+CD for Time Out showcasing the other side of Berlin.

Not only that, but we have got the one and only I-F to bring down the walls - he is the mixmaster and track selector supreme and his last appearance in our Lunar Disko collaboration at Kennedys saw a lock-out as those who know got down to the electro, Italo, Chicago and killer records from through the years as I-F rocked the floor like no other.

I-F, short for Interr-Ference, also known as Ferenc, Beverly Hills 808303 and his affiliations include [deep breath!]: Murder Capital, The Hotmix Cartel, The Cybernetic Broadcasting System Internet Radio Station [ www.c-b-s.nu ], The Conservatives, The Parallax Corporation, The Viewlexx Empire, Top Secret/Test Series and ties to other covert recording outfits. Want to know where all those hot dj's get their inspiration for the whacked out italo, Chicago, disco sounds....? Look no further, I-F is a massive inspiration to so many DJs and producers across the globe. He pushes product throughout the globe, specializes in stuttering 808s and throbbing basslines, and has been inspirational to the careers of countless electro acts on the come up. Headquartered in The Hague, Holland, known to have alliances with electro brokers in Rotterdam (southwestern Holland connection), known associate of Unit Moebius, the Bunker Records posse, and other black budget artistic projects. His mission is simple: to make people listen to different music. It has lead him to create the disco music side-project The Parallax Corporation, his radio show at home, and his various labels to sponsor unknown producers. When I-F gets into some gangster shit, know that he's doing it for you, the curious listeners of the world. How many other gangsters have your back?

Opening up the night will be Barry Donovan the fantasy football supremo and EC resident to set the main room burning on the night. For this night we are also going to take over the bar as our friends from 'across the water' from Mighty Robot Records will be serving up some Robot Disco Terror all night. The MRR duo will be playing the previous night in Electric City and joining them for the Friday night in the bar will be Vic 20 (aka Rick Hopkins) from the Haywire crew in London who is a former resident of the legendary Sabresonic & Blood Sugar parties run by Weatherall. Expect to jack to the sound of dirty Den Haag, early Chicago/New York house and garage, classic Detroit techno, European electronics, new/old electro, European disco tackle, freestyle and anything that makes the crowd move.

First up thanks for the fantastic response to our competition last week.
