Hello,

I'm looking to see if anyone has any real world experience with either of these pieces.

I'm really trying to make a decision about this soon.

From what I can gather:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MPD24

Pros: good overall build; good amount of knobs and faders; mpc feel to the pads (I had the mpd16, I thought it was pretty crappy (round contacts under square pads, etc)).

Cons: Limited midi functionality (no continuous controller functionality for pads); limited pad banks.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Padkontrol

Pros: very sensitive pads; increased overall midi funcitonality; x/y controller.

Cons: slightly soft feel to the pads; smaller pads; limited knobs/faders.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any user experience with either piece would be greatly appreciated. My #1 interest is in drum programming, #2 is for live use triggering various midi events.

Spanks in advance!
