After many years of remix silence, the extremely popular 'IOU4 – Emergence One Remixes' with Regis, Wünsch and Persuasion Channel, is followed up with IOU12 - Grovskopa's Emergence Seven remixed! First up is a live version that was recorded at Conecta Festival in Spain in August 2006 - an extract that was chosen to show the balls and in-the-moment frenzy that live sets can have. Real rock n' roll! Next we have the Archae remix, a solemn and peculiar piece that sounds like techno made by someone who is totally disconnected from the techno scene (which is a good thing by the way!). On the flip we have the Luka Baumann remix which showcases the sodomistic and introverted nature of the little boys' techno club. Last off is the Reducer remix (surely you know Reducer is Inigo Kennedy!). Reducer has…ahem…reduced the original to cut up snippets and rearranged it all into something truly intricate and cold. Perfect winter music. Fight the ongoing plague of MINIMAL , ave Maxima ! And remember, next up is IOU13 - Luka Baumann's "Emergence Nine" remixed by Makaton, Mulero, Grovskopa and...!!!???
