Sputnik - interstellar space disco

An intimate party of house and techno in a venue that's possibly Sheffield's best kept secret. Paying homage to the first orbiting satellite Sputnik, we're embarking into a voyage of interstellar beats opening a porthole of 8 earth hours to escape the gravitational pull of earth as we know it.

50 years since the Sputnik launch, 50 years and 650 episodes of the Sky at Night...there will be monocles! 8 hours of house techno, earth relics... and perhaps even Patrick Moore? Don't forget your gravity boots.

Saturday 10th March 2007. 12.00 midnight-8am. £5.

yeah the venues wicked, the room we've got is this big arched stone room. Its been cut in half with a mezzanine, hopefully we'll have sofa's up there to chill in

Well its the first night we're doing so we haven't booked anyone big, just me and my mate. We're gonna be playing al kinds of house and techno - chicargo / detroit / minimal / acid / harder stuff, bit of everything really, maybe some jungle book in the wee hours if lucky!

We've got the venue every second saturday of the month so we're hoping to make some bookings in the near future.

If any local dj's are interested in playing bring down a cd.
