View Full Version : who do you support if your club goes out of business?
sadly, it looks like this is the case with my club. with crippling debts of 78 million, and sitting pretty at the bottom of the premiership, the fall into the first division would kill the club off for sure. the only hope we have is a saudi arabian millionaire who is a massive leeds fan, but it seems a takeover is unlikley, as these rumours have been going off for quite a while and he aint said shit about the situation.
so im just wondering who my choice of club will be next season? if your club were no more who would you support? would you take the easy way out and a become a fan of man utd (or the scum as we like to call em) or do you support another local side whos lying mid-tabled in the unibond league?

If Everton went bust, I would just support Celtic, in the premiership I would probably like to see Newcastle do well, always had a soft spot for them.

haha!!
at least we have,nt got the biggest debt in yorkshire now ;)
im sure leeds will get out of it though
nah no way, i think its over for us, i look at the way we play football, and the players we have, and its got first division written all over it. no premiership for us basically means no club, were fu*ked, good and proper.
fingers crossed for a takeover, although who wants to take on a business which is 78 million in debt?

If the hammers ever went bust I would follow Cardiff City seeing as they play about 40miles down the road. Or failing that Brizzle Rovers or City

coincedently blackburn are my 2nd fave premiership side, having lived in the area for over 4 years.
so if i did switch my allainces i could be left supporting a first division side.
