Does anyone know how Gaiser and Troy Pierce get that evil voice on "answer" and "25 bitches". I know its threw use of a vocoder but i cant seem to find the sound/ know how?
Also do u reckon they programmed in the speech or talked it in with a mic?

Take a normal voice sample
Pitch it downwards masses, whilst keeping the length of the sample the same
Throw some processing at it (filter VST/PSP Nitro)

theres a few ways you could do this...
dbGlitch might get the glitch effect, as well as this
http://destroyfx.smartelectronix.com/software/bufferoverride-win.zip
also if you have the waves stuff, the Ultrapitch shift 6 has some really nice presets...'Voice of Zardoz' being one of my favs. it makes it sound alien and weird.
best bet would to render some vocals with that Ultrapitch effect on, and then chop it up with some of the bufferoverride or glitch!
giz a shout if u need any 'help' with that waves software
