After 6 months break, the Alien Radio crew are back with a new (secret) venue, in a new city with AR veteran Shelley Parker, Bass Invaders, and Feelaz providing musical madness into sunday afternoon with support from the AR residents. Don't worry folks it's a bank holiday so no need to call in sick on the Monday.... maybe on Tuesday. The perfect afterparty for the hardcore raver.

Shelley Parker, first began playing when she started out with the art-inspired electro night, 'Nerd'. As co-promoter and resident DJ, Shelley fused influences from her art school background with her discerning taste in electro pop, acid house and electronica. Special guests included numerous visual artists who were invited to try their hand at the decks. They would play alongside established electronic artists such as Robin Rimbaud (aka Scanner), Ladytron and Tokyo Windbag. This inspiring mix ensured diverse and innovative music, which is the core of Shelley's musical philosophy. A year since joining the Haywire roster, Shelley has continued to explore electronic music, developing her style to a point where she can play effortlessly alongside the likes of Depeche Mode's Andy Fletcher, Miss Kittin and Blackstrobe's Ivan Smagghe. Focusing on her current electro bass and minimal techno influences, Shelley can also play a much harder and darker set. Inspired by the underground club nights where she has played at alongside artists and DJs such as Debasser, Radioactive Man, Magda and Rephlex's Plasticman. Shelley also regularly plays at Haywire events and many London clubs, such as Fabric, the Egg and the 333. She is a regular on the internet radio show gaialive.com, where she plays a mix of breaks, grime and techno. She has also contributed to Electric City's Power FM. Shelley is currently taking her musical endeavours to the next level by working on a debut album. It's a project which fuses Found Sound with Techno, Electro and Bass. The Bass Invaders, Bob and Colin, met in 2001 at an afterparty following TEST in Glasgow. Since then they have been putting on parties in Glasgow with guests that include Neil Landstrumm, Bill Youngman, Jerome Hill, Knifehandchop and many more. In 2003 they began to perform live twisted, ‘Bass’ techno, on a complete hardware setup. In 2004 Bob had relocated to London but this did not stop the duo. Their sets where always impromptu as neither had heard each others material. This gave them a very ‘live’ feel with every set always being different. Last year the pair were able to write together again following Colins decision to move to London, and they are still playing in a very live and unscripted manner. Feelaz started to get interested in electronic music in the mid-nineties. The main reason was probably that he moved to poland after living in germany for 12 years. On a holiday in London he bought his first records (mainly old Jungle stuff) and started to collect them. By this time the first "Tresor" parties, which had a big influence on him at this time, where organised in his hometown Poznan and such artists as Cristian Vogel or Tobias Schmidt played there for the first time. In 1999 he met Pete Bull who dj'd and organised small underground parties for quite a long time already. They got on very well so he invited Feelaz to play on some party together. After some time (and a lot of beers and spliffs together they started a residency in the (latershutbythepoliceforno****ingreason) very small but already cult club Centrala, where all other dj's from poznan played with them for almost a year. In year 2000 they started to organise parties in the MO club inviting everybody who is doing cool stuff from all over poland. Maad, Chris Da'Break, Krisb and many others have dj'd there and such artists as Marcin Czubala (Currently Processing rec.) or Jacek Sienkiewicz (Recognition rec.) played a live set. Pete Bull moved to Warsaw in 2001 and "Extension" was founded to start something new. After that there where parties organised in the legendary Eskulap club and a 3 year residency in the great ZEZ club, which unfortunately closed in mid-2004:-( By now Feelaz has played all over poland and a few gigs abroad. The music he plays is not easy to describe. It's a mixture of all kindz of electro'n'broken beatz, funky techno, and anything else what comes to his mind, never forgetting to keep the funk and bass the dancefloor! He sometimes also plays more housey oriented and special chill-out sets. It all depends on the party and the people...Check out the Feelaz 'Funky Fish for Supper' Mix HERE (http://www.extension.pl/music/feelaz_-_funky_fish_for_supper.mp3)

See you there!!! :D
