Never mind 99.999% on mp3.com was just real rubbish made by kids in their bedrooms. Ever listened to the acid section? Wouldn't even download one of the tracks never mind buy it.
Techno was better but didn't find anything worth more than a stream in the background when you're a bit bored.
Techstep had 3 artists that knew what tehy were doing the rest was piss poor arse.

I am a kid making music in my bedroom. Does that render me a bad musician?

me too, personally i dont think it matters what you make your tunes with e.t.c, you can still tell wether a tunes a good tune or not wether it was made in a pro studio or in fruity loops, the production will probably not be as polished but you can still tell wether the heart of the tune is good.

ooops. That was not meant literally. It was meant to say that the standard on MP3 is often well below anything you would buy or hear out. I have/had to listen to about 100-200 tracks to get one that I would buy. Sorry I was being unnecessaryly patronising.
Only my opinion. Which is why I bought decks because it was the only way to constantly listen to top quality techno. Don't get me wrong I like my MP3, I have a Sony D-CJ01, but it tends to be mixes and tracks I get off Kazaa.
Don't listen to me, I talk sh.it
