gee...nice to be forewarned, eh?

*grumble*

i would at least like copies of the tunes for our loooong wait, ya know?

pardon me for sounding cranky, but the lonjg wait and lack of communication has got me supremely pissed off.

all that waiting, and it's an mp3 release that could have been done years ago. how nice.

I think Boris put the MP3 releases out about 6 months back. I recieved an email stating that Giant and Dwarf would be turning into a net label. Crazy said he lost a lot of people's contact info when he lost his hard drive. So I think he had intentions of contacting everyone, just not the means to.

sounds like a lot of excuses to me. all he had to do was post here and he could have found most of the people involved.

as it stands, he has no money tied up in this release, which means he is making pure profit off of our tunes. not that i think he's getting rich, but this is pretty shady.

i remember posting a comment a long, long time ago now asking what was happening with the releases as a few people i know were getting released and i was interested to hear peoples work, got a similiar bunch of excuses as i remember.

it's a shame, as i think a few people were looking forward to both hearing this and being involved, and now i dont even know what won or what was due to come out, and it must be clocking on for about 2 years or something silly now surely????

and yeah, if they are on sale then your right there will be profit being made somewhere along the line, if only a small amount depending on sales, but even so, a label putting the music out, but not actually getting in touch with the artists whose work they are selling, yet still physically selling the work, nah, that's not good at all. Even if the person intended to get in touch but never did, well, the intention doesnt really mean anything if, inevitably, they never made an attempt to finally get in touch with people

not a great example of how to do business this really
