Just heard the next Stay Up Forever Remix is going to be:
SUFR28:000mg, Secret Hero, Build up the Pressure -
a) Chris Liberator's old skool acid mix.
b) Ant & Rackit's remix.
Anyone know if this is right? Or where to listen to some samples? :eh:

ain't no lie. Not one of my SUF favourates but would go down will with people who think they don't like techno because its very acidy and relatively light compared with the likes of FreshGrind, Hydraulix and 4x4

The Chtis Liberator mix is probably the highlight but probably strictly for acid friends.

just been and had a listen but i wasnt very impressed to be honest, too squelchy for me, i prefer harder edged acid, oh well but im sure some people will like it
just heard it the ant mix is a good crossover tune but i dont fancy the liberator mix all in all it,s worth havin in the box

hmm? just checked it out...one for the collection, but not too impressed. the original was wicked, and i feel this has let it down a bit...

It`s too strong a tune to re-mix. The original was and is a dirty party rocker with proper gnarly bass. A classic, my copy is so worn out.

couldn't have said it better about the tune or my copy......I remember going to a party when it was new and each and every DJ played it - including Mr Drummer!

I love all of the old skool on WahWah and Skankadelic, started a bit of a comic collection there :) However, the Geezer track on Bionic Orange 20 with MC Trust is one of the phattest acid tunes I've heard in a while... dirty, nasty acid techno from Hackney!

Hmm, I'll have to check out some of the new stuff coming out. Got bored with acid techno a couple of years ago but I'm always up for some dirty grungy stuff.
And the original Build Up The Pressure is a classic! A big fan of Straight Ahead on the flip as well...

Alot of the old stuff was hit and miss too. Anybody remember "2 lines of K and bag of brown" which was a miss for me vs "Inner City Junkies" which is still a party killer!

I loved the original of this. I remember finding it in Tower Records in Glasgow. I couldn't believe it coz up till then I thought the vocal was "The love crusher"
I might even dig it back out to play out some time soon.
I'll go listen to the remixes, but I doubt they could improve on the original. A classic.
