u can use Rebirth and just plug it in w/ Rewire to Cubase

if that doesnt help, the rfx beast has good 303 sounds

try the cm 303, it comes free with the uk based magazine computer music.

or muon tau another freebie, you should be able to get it from: www.muon-software.com

or if u are looking for something a little better try muon tau pro, which costs about £30 or something, availble from the above link i should imagine.

erm.. recently someone posted something about this somewhere else. check the other posts - there's a 303 emulator that kai tracid uses that looks amazing.

The "Bassline" instrument from NI Reaktor 3.0 is great for those 303 sounds too... especially when put through some distortion!

Yep it is free with the CD-rom for the CM magazine (Computer Music)... still the aurio realism is maybe the best 1.. even includes the step seq. which is tolled 2 b the responsible 4 the 303 tipical acid lines! :)

You can get a reallu good 303 sound out of fruity's 3 osc with a bit of tweaking. You'll need to set it to a really low octave and whack a load of distortion on it. In fact, there is a preset for it in the sample browser. The preset aint perfect, but with more tweaking, it sounds really good.
