I would like to take this moment to say good bye to one of the good ones in this techno world. Janie left our plane on July 5th at 10 am. She is survived by a beautiful daughter named Luna. Janie was a pivotal part in bringing schranz to the states and threw some pretty great parties in New York out of pocket to get not much in return, but good times and great people around us. In the time I got to know her I didn't see one ounce of negativity, just a genuinely good person with heart towards the music. When me and Patrick DSP first met her and Jav in NYC, you can see a glow in her eyes just from starting to talk about music. I miss her, and I was blessed along with Brad Lee to work with her musically.
We miss you deeply Janie.
I hope you see this somehow.

Thats realy sad, wishing all the best for her girl in the years ahead.

yeah, i find this really hard to understand. i read the police reports a few days ago. does anyone know anything else about it? WTF leads two loving people with a kid to repeatedly stab each other?!

Knowing the family personally, I believe the details and occurences are really not for us to worry about, but more the loss of a good comrade and a good person.

i understand and respect where you're coming from, but it's natural for some people to want to know what happened and why tragedy strikes. that's how i felt when dave shayman--and old friend of mine--killed himself not long ago.
OC police want to know what happened too, apparently. so i guess anyone who has a clue--if anyone does--should consider contacting them...

Sorry to hear about this. I met her and Jav in NYC last time I played there and they were both very nice and hospitable.

this is so insane. i just don't know what to say. i spoke to jav on the pm quite a bit. for us who didn't truly know her personally, i think we should keep nice and clear of the rumour mill until a verdict has be drawn. me, i would just like to show deep respect for someone who obviously had a deep love for music. rip Janie Peralta.

wow...that is terrible!
much love going out to her little girl and her family and friends. i don't know what happened but i am sure people are struggling right now. i wish them as much love and resolution as is possible in a tragic situation like this.
