Oh yeah, think I may have tweeked the kick a bit too loud before I bounced this down - hate having a cold, your ears tell you ***t..:whoops:

yep you're dead right, the kick's too loud and smothering the rest of the track, but I can hear good things going on behind it so I'll reserve judgement on the rest of the production until you've sorted it. Break sounds good, but that synth lacks impact and maybe could do with a bit more volume.

I reckon a final mixdown is in order when your cold's cleared, and although not my cup of tea style-wise (I don't wanna comment too much therefore on arrangement etc), sounds like it has potential. I would say a few more change-ups in the synth and atmospherics to inject a bit more energy in wouldn't go amiss though.

Yeah, will look at the volume on the synth too, as it keeps niggling at me...

I'll have a look at increasing the atmosphere after the break as well - just didn't want to milk it too much...
