This is for ppl who don't use internet for their production computers.
I only have one computer at home for music production and I don't use the internet on it at all. What I'm wondering is how do you update all the windows stuff? When there is a critical windows update or just any updates in general, how do you go about it?? I'm running windows XP if that helps. Thanks in advance!

If you're not on the net you probably won't need to download any updates, most of them are for security issues that won't affect you. If you do need anything though you can order a CD off Microsoft with them on for very cheap I think.

or you could download a service pack next time you're at a pc with fast (ADSL or better) web access and a CD burner. Do a serach in google for something like "download XP service pack", and only click on a result that has ".microsoft.com" in the URL. Get the "network install" version, download it, burn it, take it home....install.....Bob's your uncle. Nothing much will be different, but you can imagine that everything got better. Some times, imagining it, makes it feel like it has. If you've got a really, really good imagination, you could skip the download steps, and pretend you've already done it.
